Melbourne Storm will play Penrith Panthers in the 2020 NRL Grand Final on Sunday, October 25
Since the announcement of a 20-round competition – including the two already played before the COVID-19 break – the home-and-away season has been run and won and the top eight whittled down to two.
It is set to be played at ANZ Stadium despite original plans for it to be held at the Sydney Cricket Ground, with the Homebush venue’s planned construction work no longer taking place.

This year’s NRL Grand Final will take place on Sunday 25th October.
Like previous years, kick-off will likely take place at 7.30pm (AEDT).

After much speculation, the NRL Grand Final will be played at its usual venue of ANZ Stadium this year.
The Homebush-based stadium was originally set to undergo reconstruction and the game was going to be held at the Sydney Cricket Ground – but those plans have since been abandoned.
WHO WILL PERFORM PRE-GAME ENTERTAINMENT AT NRL GRAND FINAL 2020?
Aussie artist Amy Shark has been confirmed as the pre-game entertainment for the October 25th event.
She shot to fame with her 2016 single ‘Adore’, while the likes of ‘I Said Hi’, ‘Psycho’ and ‘All Loved Up’ have seen her cement her status as a bonafide star.
“It’s been a really tough year for rugby league and live entertainment so I’m really excited to be bringing the band and crew together for this exciting pre-match performance,” she said following the announcement.
“I can’t wait to celebrate the finalists on the field and bring some live music to homes across Australia.”
